Job Description (JD) for a SAP Security Consultant with hands-on experience in SAP BTP Administration and SAP GRC, for professionals with 4 to 10 years of experience: ________________________________________ Job Title: SAP Security Consultant (SAP BTP & GRC) Location: Bangalore or Remote Experience Required: 4 to 10 years Employment Type: Full-Time Department: IT / SAP Security / Risk & Compliance ________________________________________ Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) administration, SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and core SAP Security (ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security roles, access controls, and compliance frameworks across SAP systems to ensure secure and compliant enterprise operations. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: 1. SAP Security: • Design and implement SAP security roles and authorizations across systems including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, CRM, and Fiori. • Perform user administration, role management, and access control for SAP systems. • Conduct regular audits and remediation activities related to user access and segregation of duties (SoD). 2. SAP BTP Administration: • Manage identity and access provisioning in SAP BTP for both cloud-native and on-premise S/4HANA instances. • Configure trust relationships between SAP BTP and corporate identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, SAML, OAuth). • Support hybrid connectivity scenarios including SAP Cloud Connector, Destination configurations, and Principal Propagation for secure integration with on-premise systems. • Handle BTP subaccount setup, entitlements, environment configuration (Cloud Foundry & Neo), and service instance management. • Troubleshoot authorization and connectivity issues across cloud and on-premise integrated SAP landscapes. 3. SAP GRC: • Configure and maintain SAP GRC Access Control modules: ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM. • Design and implement SoD ruleset and risk analysis frameworks. • Coordinate access request workflows and role approval processes. • Conduct periodic access reviews, firefighter session monitoring, and compliance reporting. 4. Governance & Compliance: • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR). • Participate in internal and external audits and facilitate security documentation and evidence collection. 5. Collaboration & Support: • Work closely with functional and technical teams to support SAP projects and incident resolution. • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members. • Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials. ________________________________________ Required Skills and Experience: • 4–10 years of experience in SAP Security, including user/role administration and access control. • Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience in SAP BTP Administration. • Strong knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control modules and SoD concepts. • Experience with Fiori and S/4HANA authorization models. • Familiarity with integration technologies (SAML, OAuth, SCIM) and identity providers (Azure AD, Okta). • Knowledge of IT compliance standards and practices. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and documentation abilities. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • SAP Certifications in SAP Security, GRC, or BTP Administration. • Experience with cloud-based solutions (SAP Cloud Identity Services, SAP Launchpad). • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or SAP Cloud ALM is a plus. • Experience in managing hybrid (on-premise + cloud) SAP landscapes. ________________________________________ Work Environment: • Flexible working hours and hybrid work environment. • Collaborative and cross-functional team setting. • Opportunity to work on enterprise-level SAP transformation projects.15 years full time education
