Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and solves issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve software-related challenges, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyze system performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of application support processes, all while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional service to stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: a Be a expert team member – Technical or functional or Techno-functional b Resolve tickets,design and build Extensions, Interfaces and Reports for Shared Services Applications (ERP like Peoplesoft, IValue, Lawson, Business apps like Angel Eyes, Alertus, Clinical apps like OnBase etc) c Coordinates with end user, Customer, vendor, Functional/Business team for ticket, problem resolution d Helps in designing strategy for new enhancement requests (minor or major) and adoption of new features coming in new Application releases e Monitor Applications and Batch jobs and resolve monitoring issues f Automate/ innovate and bring in continuous improvements Ready to work in shifts in rotation basis (most common shift would be shift B) and provide weekend on-call support. Professional & Technical Skills: a Must be an expert in their Core Primary skills and the Applications supported within BSWH project b Must have good end to end Business process knowledge, Problem solving skills, critical thinking c Must have experience upgrading , updating patches for the Applications used in BSWH d Must be expert in Oracle SQL/PL SQL and other required skills for Application support e Should have prior experience of working on Production Support, managing SLAs f Positive attitude towards work, flexible and ready to upskill and learn new applications Additional Information: Work from office as per guidance from ATCI; completely remote working is not acceptable - This position is based at select offices in India. - A 15 years full time education is required. Ready to work in shifts/weekends (On-Call) on Rotational basis.15 years full time education
