Summary: Job Title: Python Engineer – Network Tooling & Automation Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid Level (4-6 years) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Engineer to join our Network Tooling and Automation team. This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about building scalable automation frameworks and tooling that empower infrastructure, operations, and network teams. You’ll work at the intersection of backend development, systems automation, and cloud infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools and backend services using Python and Django • Build and integrate RESTful APIs for network systems • Manage and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related tools • Develop dashboards and visualization tools using Grafana, Kibana, or similar • Monitor infrastructure and services using tools like Prometheus, Nagios, New Relic, or Datadog • Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases like MariaDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL • Support and maintain a Linux-based development and deployment environment • Collaborate with DevOps, SREs, and Network Engineers to streamline workflows • Contribute to the architecture and deployment of applications in Docker and Kubernetes • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage applications • work with HTML/CSS/JavaScript • Work on cutting-edge automation and observability platforms Professional & Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in Django or other Python web frameworks • Solid experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and command-line tools • Expertise with Git and GitHub workflows • Proven experience with REST API development and Automation • Deep understanding of relational databases and complex SQL queries • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions • Exposure to infrastructure monitoring and observability tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.) • Basic networking concepts: IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP • Comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Bonus: Front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JS) for building lightweight UIs and dashboards Additional Information: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Experience in large-scale system automation or infrastructure tooling • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment15 years full time education
