Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and communicative Service Management Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in managing and improving our IT services. You'll work with clients and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong technical foundation and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Service Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for service-related issues, using your expertise with ServiceNow to manage incidents, problems, and changes.

  • Technical Support: Utilize your technical skills to analyze and resolve issues related to cloud platforms (preferably AWS and Google Cloud) and integration tools like MuleSoft.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, clearly communicating issue statuses, resolutions, and long-term solutions.

  • Process Improvement: Apply your understanding of IT service management principles to identify areas for improvement within our workflows and processes.

  • Life Science Compliance: Ensure all technical and service management processes adhere to life science industry standards, specifically related to Computer System Validation (CSV).

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED is required.

  • Must have advanced technical English skills (B2+ or above)

  • Service Management Experience: Proven experience in a Service Management role, with strong hands-on experience using a platform like ServiceNow.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Google Cloud.

    • Familiarity with integration technologies, such as MuleSoft.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Life Science industry, specifically with experience in Computer System Validation (CSV).

  • Nice to Have: An ITIL certification is a plus.
