Skill : MSSQL Database Administration Key Responsibilities : A:Need to provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of database systems within a defined operating model and processes B :Should work on all support activities including monitoring of databases and incident and monitoring tickets C:Need to perform basic database functions like DB restarts, backups, user management, restore, patching, troubleshooting, basic performing management. D: Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance Technical Experience: 1. MS SQL Database Management: · Proficient in managing and administering MS SQL databases, including recent versions and various storage options. 2. Performance, Security, and Availability: · Skilled in configuring replication, optimizing performance, planning resource requirements, and ensuring database security and availability. 3. Database Operations: · Experienced in executing common database procedures such as upgrades, backups, recovery, database patching, migrations, and provisioning SQL Server instances (both clustered and non-clustered). 4 SQL Proficiency and Features: · Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries, understanding MS SQL features such as SQL Server Agent, and preparing detailed documentation and specifications. 5 Collaboration and Support: · Knowledgeable about MS SQL limitations and workarounds, and willing to work in a 24x7 support environment. Professional Attributes : A:Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment B:Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment C:Should be able to perform initial level of trouble shootings.15 years full time education
