Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityNow Implementation Engineer to join our cybersecurity and identity governance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and a proven track record of implementing SailPoint IdentityNow solutions for large-scale enterprises. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and integrating SailPoint IdentityNow to meet business, security, and compliance requirements.

As a key member of our IAM team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, application owners, and security professionals to deliver secure, automated, and efficient identity lifecycle management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy SailPoint IdentityNow solutions based on business and compliance requirements.

• Implement identity lifecycle management processes, including Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflows, access requests, and certifications.

• Integrate SailPoint IdentityNow with authoritative sources (e.g., HR systems, Active Directory, LDAP) and target applications using available connectors (REST, SCIM, JDBC, etc.).

• Configure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies, and access governance rules.

• Develop and customize workflows, rules, and transforms to meet project-specific needs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document solutions, and ensure smooth project delivery.

• Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for configurations and connectors.

• Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize IdentityNow configurations and integrations.

• Provide post-implementation support, including monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Maintain detailed documentation and deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience implementing SailPoint IdentityNow in enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) principles and best practices.

• Experience with integration protocols and APIs (SCIM, REST, LDAP, JDBC).

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as BeanShell, PowerShell, or Python.

• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications

• SailPoint IdentityNow Certified Engineer or equivalent certification.

• Experience with cloud-based identity platforms and SaaS integrations.

• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps processes for IAM deployments.
