Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, activation, and evolution of the Advocate Health employer brand to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy, EVP, and organizational priorities.
  • Build and scale enterprise-wide storytelling and brand campaigns that differentiate Advocate Health as an employer of choice and connect the teammate experience to purpose, culture, and impact.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Communications, and Talent Acquisition leaders to align messaging, creative, and channel strategies across internal and external audiences, ensuring a unified brand voice.
  • Oversee social media strategy for employer brand channels, collaborating with regional Talent Attraction Specialists to plan and execute campaigns that highlight teammates, local impact, and community engagement.
  • Develop and manage the employer brand content calendar and toolkit ecosystem, including templates, messaging guides, storytelling frameworks, and campaign playbooks to ensure scalability and brand consistency across markets.
  • Lead the evolution of the career site and CRM content strategy in partnership with TA Innovation and Technology teams, ensuring seamless, personalized, and brand-aligned candidate experience.
  • Integrate storytelling and ambassador programs that amplify authentic teammate voices, foster inclusion, and strengthen community and culture narratives.
  • Monitor brand health, awareness, and sentiment metrics through surveys, social listening, and performance analytics; use insights to inform strategy and continuously improve storytelling impact.
  • Stay informed on talent marketing and employer brand trends, emerging platforms, and competitive positioning to identify new opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Serve as the internal brand advocate and consultant, educating TA partners and leaders on brand principles, messaging consistency, and effective use of employer brand resources.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Human Resources or related field.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 7 years of experience in human resources that includes experiences in project management, recruiting, or consultation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice, methods, research and strategies applied in large organizations.
  • Effective group facilitation and internal consulting skills.
  • Skills in research, developing sound proposals, and demonstrated ability in the successful implementation of programs.
  • Skills in influencing and developing others who are not direct reports in order to move toward common goals and outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with executives, management, physicians, and team members at all levels. Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and with a wide range of audiences consisting of different generations, cultures, and learning styles.
  • High level of proficiency and literacy in using the Microsoft Office Suite, similar products and other technology solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement standards and quality improvement principles.
  • Ability to navigate and establish priorities in an often, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
  • Exposed to a normal office environment.
