Pay Range
$57.85 - $86.80Major Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages teams and projects related to HR technology. Uses project management techniques to establish roles and responsibilities, monitors project, and ensures high quality deliverables. Develops key project deliverables which include requirement specifications, use cases, system test cases, training and documentation for the most complex enhancements, automation and implementations.
- Leads and participates at an expert-level with the feasibility of the most complex enhancements, automations and implementations review, analysis, and evaluation of current and future business processes. Explores alternative business solutions and serves as a liaison to business/IT/customers to explain choices and implications. Develops solutions that solve the most complex technical and/or business issues. Creates functional specifications based upon business requirements.
- Provides direction and recommendations on projects to ensure that HR technology is optimally configured to achieve the highest benefit for the project. Collaborates with IT and functional teams to ensure resources are allocated properly.
- Leads and participates in enterprise-wide projects to implement harmonized solutions across the organization. Works with Director of HRIS to develop and support strategic direction for all HR technology. Provides updates to Director of HRIS and monitors progress to completion. Assists Director of HRIS with HR systems selection, establishing scope and defining functional requirements. Extensive involvement in planning and implementation of systems.
- Manages multiple projects and directs team members. Leads the day-to-day activities of analysts by assigning, monitoring, coaching, reviewing progress and accuracy of work, directing efforts and providing technical guidance on complex issues. Provides performance feedback on an ongoing basis to Director of HRIS.
- Mentors and coaches analysts in workflow and functionality within HR Technology. Subject matter expert on human resources technology related processes, procedures, features, and functionality. Provides support for change management in the areas of training, communication and documentation.
- Develop and deploy system upgrades and proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Lead updates twice per year; thoroughly review what functionality is changing with the update, implementing new functionality based on business priorities, and creating awareness of changes to impacted users.
- Evaluates current application configuration with the HR technology to identify and implement opportunities for improvement. Proactively researches industry service benchmarks and provides best practices for customer strategies, tools, and operational opportunities.
- Identifies opportunities, creates and implements processes which improve the effectiveness of HR Technology. Drives strong level of customer service, ensuring all business requirements are met.
- Provides post implementation tracking for major projects helping to ensure the expected benefits are obtained and that key insights are captured and incorporated into future projects and processes.
- Leads HR reporting and analytics functionality and serves as expert resource for all HR data needs; Ensures data integrity, compliance and security of data through ongoing data audits and analysis.
- Maintains communications with technical counterparts to guide the issues to cross-functional resolution, adopt best practices and ensure integration of specific application architecture into overall enterprise technology strategy.
- Stays abreast of emerging HR technology and system enhancements and provides recommendations as appropriate.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience Required: Typically requires 7 years of experience in in human resources systems which includes experiences in human capital management implementations and systems modules such as benefits, compensation, recruiting, performance management, learning management, succession planning, help desk/service center and human resources analytics.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge leader and recognized expert in HR technologies in various functional and business areas.
- Strong and broad functional knowledge of benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, talent management and organization development functions/processes to accomplish human resources applications objectives.
- Demonstrated strength as a strategic thinker with ability to understand the business direction/goals and their potential implications on system requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead/mentor in a team environment where collaboration, motivation and the knowledge transfer process are critical to success.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and highly experienced in researching, designing and implementing solutions and maintaining/upgrading systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of how various ERP (enterprise resource planning) HR modules interact and affect one another.
- Ability to approach problems from a “big picture” perspective, with analysis of long-term ramifications of decisions.
- Ability to recommend best practices and execute objectives.
- Participates in large scale HR projects to provide technical HR system support.
- Solves complex problems with innovative solutions.
- Demonstrates the ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision with proficiency and the ability to instruct, guide, assign, advise and mentor team members.
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with key leaders.
- Demonstrated experience working with functional and technical customers, vendors, peers, and management.
- Ability to influence and direct work teams. Strong mentoring and knowledge transfer capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast paced/complex environment, handle multiple tasks, set appropriate priorities and accomplish assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of working largely on their own initiative to identify and address key issues.
