Position Compensation Range:
$97,000.00 - $164,000.00Pay Rate Type:
SalaryCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities

Agile Facilitation and Coaching:
Facilitate Agile events for product and service delivery teams, including but not limited to, Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Team Retrospective, Sprint/Service Review, Backlog Refinement/Replenishment, and Story-mapping.
Coach teams to higher maturity levels, ensuring predictable delivery at a sustainable pace.
Serve as a servant leader, enabling teams to be self-organized, cross-functional, and effective in an Agile environment.
Provide education and coaching on Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, increasing awareness and adoption of Agile principles and values across the organization.

Team Support and Development:
Ensure teams follow best practices for frameworks and tools that align with established standards and direction (industry, company and Digital Workplace)
Facilitate team collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution, shielding teams from outside influences and distractions.
Help teams remove impediments and bottlenecks, guiding them to deliver high-value products incrementally.

Product and Value Maximization:
Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers on the product roadmap, providing techniques to effectively build and manage the Product Backlog.
Develop a release strategy that maximizes the value delivered, helping determine optimal team utilization.
Coach teams to identify and minimize waste, while maximizing value through inter-team collaboration.

Metrics and Continuous Improvement:
Develop and provide team metrics such as Velocity, Sprint Burndown, Lead time, Cycle time, and throughput to drive continuous improvement and support forecasting and planning.
Support Digital Workplace metrics, such as Predictability, PI Progress and Leakage.

Organizational Collaboration and Training:
Work with other Scrum Masters to enhance the effectiveness of Scrum across the organization.
Assist teams in PI Planning and other scaling activities, including supporting the Release Train Engineer in planning efforts.

Additional Responsibilities:
May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the organization, and in helping the teams deliver.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions, support, or service.
Kanban experience is required for this role.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in IT product delivery, particularly in a Scrum Master role or similar capacity.
In-depth understanding of Agile frameworks, principles, and values, with a strong grasp of Scrum and Kanban methodologies and practices.
Exceptional interpersonal and servant leadership abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong facilitation and organizational capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members effectively.
Proficient in collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Basic understanding of scaling frameworks, including SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale
Licenses
Scrum Master certification is preferred

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Primary location- Madison, WI 5378
The Boston, MA 02110 location is secondary.
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location (or 35-mile radius for Boston)
