The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparation or initial reviews of various individual components (e.g. footnotes, schedules) including supporting documentation for SEC reporting, regulatory reporting, internally reported financial information, and/or other externally reported financial information for the Bank and its parent and subsidiaries (collectively, the Bank).
This person will also:
Prepare and/or perform initial review of the Bank’s external reporting filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) to comply with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and other SEC or regulatory guidance.
Prepare and/or perform initial review or the Bank’s regulatory reporting for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), and other regulatory bodies to comply with GAAP and other regulatory guidance.
Assist in the preparation, review and analysis of the annual sustainability report and other required sustainability reporting within the Bank’s footprint in alignment with required standards.
Support the preparation and/or review of other reporting and analysis for additional stakeholders throughout the Bank.
Develop technical and research expertise regarding Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), GAAP, SEC, regulatory and other guidance. Assist in the implementation of new regulations or accounting standards within SEC or regulatory reporting.
Provide support to the monthly, quarterly and annual close process of the consolidated and legal entity financial information including analytical reviews, variance and discrepancy identification and resolution, and other analyses (e.g. yield analysis, key ratios, capital evaluation, etc.).
Contribute to the maintenance of internal financial controls to ensure integrity of external reporting, including procedures surrounding completeness and accuracy of the data being utilized in external reporting.
Identify efficiencies and implement process improvements surrounding external reporting.
Support education, development and cross-training of other external reporting team members or others within finance.
Work with and assist internal, external and regulatory auditors in the course of their inquiries, audits or examinations.
Support special projects as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Accounting or Finance. Required.
Experience
3-5 years Accounting and/or Finance experience. Required.
Less than 2 years Accounting and or Finance experience within the financial services industry. Preferred.
3-5 years External SEC or Regulatory Reporting. Preferred.
Less than 2 years Audit or Internal Controls. Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
CPA - Certified Public Accountant by start date. Preferred.

$70,560.00 - $120,960.00 per year
