What You Will Contribute:
Job Summary
The Documentation & Learning Enablement Supervisor oversees the creation, governance, and delivery of high‑quality technical documentation, training content, and enablement programs. This role acts as a player‑coach, providing day‑to‑day supervision of junior team members while also directly contributing to documentation, process improvement, and training development.
The supervisor partners with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure that technical content, process documentation, and training materials are accurate, consistent, and effective. This role drives documentation standards, supports process enablement, and ensures adoption of tools and workflows across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Documentation Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and coach junior team members.
- Oversee creation of user guides, online help, release notes, job aids, and technical documentation.
- Implement and maintain documentation standards, templates, and best practices.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle: planning, writing, reviewing, publishing, and updating.
- Ensure documentation accuracy, usability, version control, and alignment with stakeholder needs.
2. Learning, Training & Enablement
- Develop and deliver training programs related to systems, processes, Salesforce (if applicable), and product workflows.
- Review, approve, and guide training content developed by internal designers or junior team members.
- Maintain a centralized repository of training assets and ensure content integrity and currency.
- Lead onboarding and refresher training for new hires or system/process changes.
- Simplify complex technical and process concepts into accessible, learner‑friendly materials.
3. Cross‑Functional Process Documentation & Improvement
- Facilitate process‑mapping workshops across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service.
- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies across departments.
- Translate process improvements into clear documentation, SOPs, and training resources.
- Support change management efforts tied to system or process enhancements.
- Partner with technical teams when process changes impact system configuration or behavior.
4. Program Governance & Reporting
- Maintain documentation and training calendars aligned with product releases and process updates.
- Communicate status, progress, risks, and blockers to senior management.
- Monitor training effectiveness and documentation usage; recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, best practices, and audit requirements.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Information Systems, Training, or related field (preferred).
- 3–7+ years of experience in technical documentation, training, enablement, Sales Operations, or related discipline.
- Experience supervising writers, content creators, or training staff strongly preferred.
- Background in B2B manufacturing, SaaS, or technology environments a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong technical writing, editing, and documentation management skills.
- Hands‑on experience with CRM or enterprise systems (Salesforce experience preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in translating complex information into clear documentation or training content.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with digital documentation tools and methodologies (e.g., structured content, online knowledge bases).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent system familiarity.
- Experience with instructional design tools (Articulate, Captivate, Lessonly, etc.).
- Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Multilingual communication skills.
