Baird Trust Operations, within Baird’s Private Wealth Management division, is seeking to add a Senior Analyst associate to assist in managing and maintaining Baird Trust’s technology solutions while developing and improving Baird Trust processes with an emphasis on initiating, guiding, and executing on project initiatives. The Trust Operations Senior Analyst will be expected to play an assisting role in the innovation, and day-to-day management of various Baird Trust focused initiatives and processes. This position will collaborate across the Baird Trust organization. The role will have a strategic and tactical focus on and responsibility for the Trust roadmap as well as supporting several applications and systems. Additionally, the Trust Operations Senior Analyst/Project Initiatives will be responsible for assisting Trust Operations Leadership in alignment, planning, and communicating across Baird Trust organization. This role may grow to include additional responsibilities as Baird Trust’s priorities change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initiate and guide projects by collaborating with the Baird Trust Tech Lead on various initiatives
  • Work with teams on defining and build consensus around project approach, scope and milestones while facilitating planning, touch point, and retrospective meetings.
  • Assist with client issue resolution: manage handoffs to subject matter experts and other departments to ensure questions and issues are resolved and delivered to the client’s satisfaction
  • Manage, document, report and analyze current client transactions and impacting processes for future enhancements
  • Leverage project methodology to plan, organize, and monitor initiatives providing regular reporting and updates on progress timelines, obstacles, and challenges.
  • Provide strategic project guidance and technical subject matter expertise driving the execution of key Trust initiatives and activities; ensure timely delivery in support of critical business success measurement goals as defined in the Trust Co.
  • Drive resolution of issues / ineffectiveness with Baird Trust internal and external vendors and implementation of vendor technology
  • Provide complex problem solving to help define and deliver on long-term strategic planning efforts to ensure that the operating unit is positioned to meet and exceed the needs relative to key Baird Trust activities and Baird Trust clients
  • Identify opportunities for optimizing business productivity throughout the Trust organization
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness initiatives (PE&E) and develop and implement new procedures to monitor productivity, quality output levels and increased efficiency
  • Maintain an understanding of the issues with internal partners and share information and key updates with the Trust Operations team Partner and actively interact with Baird Trust Operation leadership team members and Baird Trust leadership as a productive and collaborative member of the Trust Operations team
  • Partner with Baird Trust Operations leadership to adhere to regulatory and fiduciary law guidelines
  • Utilize knowledge of business process improvement skills and leverage methodologies like six sigma and DMAIC to facilitate process improvements with the ability to process flow map and prototyping.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+years of relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering substantial business results.
  • Experience should cover multiple functions, preferably within a diversified financial services firm or financial services regulatory body and include extensive knowledge of policies and procedures in the client service business model
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills leading to trusting relationships with business partners and their leadership team
  • Will be driven to achieve results, thrive in a fast paced environment and be required to make decisions based on sound judgment with information at hand
  • The ability to convey issues credibly to internal and external stakeholders is a must
  • Demonstrated relationship builder; able to establish both internal and external working relationships in order to identify and implement strategies for business growth
  • Change agent who is able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with associates at all levels and in all areas of the firm
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Planning skills are a must along with the ability to lead others through indirect lines of management
  • Committed with a high level of drive, resilience and enthusiasm
