Windchill Developer

Responsibilities:

System Design and Configuration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Windchill PLM system designs.
• Configure and customize Windchill components to meet specific project needs, ensuring optimal system performance and user experience.

Customization and Development:

• Develop and implement custom solutions, workflows, and extensions within the Windchill platform.
• Create and modify Windchill templates, CAD data integrations, and other system functionalities to enhance overall product development efficiency.

Integration Management:

• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Windchill with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and CAD applications.
• Implement and maintain data exchange interfaces to ensure seamless communication between Windchill and related systems.

User Support and Training:

• Provide technical support to end-users, addressing issues, and troubleshooting problems related to Windchill functionality.
• Develop and deliver training programs to empower users with the necessary skills to maximize their productivity within the Windchill environment.

Upgrades and Maintenance:

• Stay informed about the latest Windchill releases, patches, and updates, and implement system upgrades as needed.
• Perform regular system maintenance activities to ensure the security, stability, and optimal performance of the Windchill PLM platform.

Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all Windchill configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Document best practices, guidelines, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future system enhancements.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Windchill Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windchill PLM configuration, customization, and development.
• Strong understanding of Java, JSP, and Windchill APIs.
• Experience with CAD software integration and configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of product development processes and PLM best practices.
