We are currently seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our team.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Perform machine function testing to ensure control panel components, field devices, and wiring perform per design and meet UL508A, UL698A, and NEC requirements

Develop, modify, and optimize PLC, HMI, and VFD programs to support industrial and process equipment operation

Integrate control system hardware and software (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, safety devices, relays, etc.) into new builds and retrofit machinery builds. Electrical wiring, terminations, and labeling.

Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and drives during machine checkout, startup, and field service: 480/120/24V

Provide remote technical support for electrical and control system troubleshooting, via phone, email, and remote connections

Prepare and maintain project documentation, including electrical drawings, controller tag lists, process narratives, and controls operational documents

Perform drawing updates in Solidworks and AutoCAD
Requirements:

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field required
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering preferred

2–3 years of related hands-on day-to-day experience in electrical controls, automation, or industrial equipment required
- 3-5 years preferred

Working knowledge of electrical control systems (480/120/24V), PLCs, HMIs, and industrial/process automation

Skilled in interpreting electrical schematics, controls logic, P&ID diagrams, and technical specification documentation

Working knowledge of UL and NEC standards, and familiarity with industrial network protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus) is preferred.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities

Valid driver's license with clean driving record, pre-employment background check & drug screening required

Travel required as needed
Location: Kenosha, WI
Hours: Monday – Friday: 6 AM – 2:30 PM
