What You’ll Do:

Under direct oversight of Clinical Engineering staff, assists with performing tasks related to equipment inspections, repairs and maintenance. Other duties include participation in special project and technical assistance in clinical settings

How You’ll Do It:

  • Performs inspections of patient care equipment following manufacturer recommended procedures
  • Performs repairs to medical equipment, logically troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Utilize test equipment properly to troubleshoot issues and/or complete preventive maintenance inspections
  • Performs preparation (including unboxing, staging, testing) of new and/or repurposed equipment and installations for special projects
  • Performs appropriate and accurate documentation of inspections and repairs

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled and at least sophomore or second year status in an Associate’s degree biomedical electronics program

Schedule Details: one 8 hour day shift per week
