The Manager is critical to the success of the Children's Wisconsin's Mental and Behavioral Health strategy by increasing Access, reducing Stigma, engaging in Early Detection, Prevention and Education. Responsible for the overall delivery, quality, sustainability, and growth of the assigned Mental & Behavioral Health Program(s). In partnership with the medical director, the individual in this role will oversee the operations of the Integrated Behavioral health (IBH) Specialty care program and the psychology resident clinic. They will work in partnership to expand mental health services to all specialty areas on the Milwaukee campus and the regional care closer to home sites This role focuses on operational and, if relevant, clinical leadership, staff supervision, development, and engagement, program development and strategy implementation, financial management and budgeting, quality improvement, clinical excellence and family experience, community outreach, partnership relations, and advocacy.
This is an in person position based in the health psychology clinic at the Milwaukee campus. Some travel to Children’s regional sites is required as needed.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Business Administration or related field.
Experience
Requires 5 years of operational health care experience with proven understanding of clinical operations.
Requires 1 year supervisory experience

Advanced analytical and decision making skills necessary to resolve employee and operational problems and assist in the development of departmental budgets and operational planning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, clinic/hospital staff and community.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and evidence-based/informed care principles and approaches.
Ability to work autonomously under conditions of ambiguity.
Demonstrated focus on customer service and continuous quality improvement.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Normal office environment where there is no reasonable potential for exposure to blood or other high risk body fluids.
Occasional evening and weekend work.
Local and statewide travel.
Preferred Job Requirements
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Education
Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Business Administration or related area preferred.
Experience
Experience working with trauma-informed and evidence-based/informed care principles and approaches preferred.
