The Value Analysis Coordinator reports to the VA Program Manager and assists in completing the operational activities associated with all new item requests, product trials and evaluations, product conversions, discontinuations, and standardization projects at the Milwaukee campus and onsite clinic locations. Assures that all necessary supplies are available when and where needed in quantities appropriate to demand. Evaluates and resolves operational and logistical concerns that arise.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Two years of related material services experience. Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience in active use of a Materials Management Information System (MMIS). Strong preference for Workday and/or web based MMIS experience.
- Requires fundamental skills of planning, organizing, and analytical ability.
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills necessary to coordinate work with other Materials Services staff, as well as with customer department staff.
- Must have the ability to interact effectively with CHHS leaders, staff, physicians and sales representatives.
- Possess a strong sense of personal accountability, service orientation, and a sensitivity and responsiveness to the requests of user departments.
- Analytical ability necessary to make complex comparisons and decisions as to what is best to meet hospital's needs.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Windows based software, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds and to work standing approximately 60% of the time.
