Location: Remote but must be local to Milwaukee to attend training and meetings
This position ensures the accuracy and integrity of the provider database and monitors network compliance with State requirements. Ensures accuracy of high volume data and maintenance of provider demographic and contract files. Interprets provider contractual language and interprets guidelines independently. Maintains proper record keeping of all system support files. Acts as a liaison between health plan and providers and vendors.
Education
Associates degree or equivalent experience in related field
Experience
Data base experience/education
2 years claims processing and/or managed care experience
1+ years of related experience (provider relations, network management, customer service)
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision.
Requires strong Excel knowledge, ability to analyze statistical data, and the ability to work on a variety of projects in an organized fashion.
Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to effectively problem solve while utilizing all-encompassing customer service skill sets
Must possess a strong knowledge of business and/or healthcare as normally obtained through provider relations experience or healthcare provider file maintenance experience
Must have an understanding of managed care reimbursement strategies and methodologies for physicians, hospitals and ancillary providers.
Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities and in making work related experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
Must be able to communicate effectively with others by speaking, reading, and writing
