Schedule Details:
Weekend and off shift availability
This position will support patient care by providing a clean and safe environment in Patient Care Units. Assist in daily activities of patient care operations. Duties include housekeeping, inventory and stocking duties, and cleaning of equipment. Participate in Continual Service Readiness (CSR) activities to maintain the environment according to regulatory standards. Additionally, assist patients, family members and/or visitors with movement from inpatient floors and throughout the hospital.
Requirements
High School graduate or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) required or relevant experience
Expectation for rotation through weekends NOT holidays.
Basic computer and technology skills.
Requires analytical skills in order to identify problems, troubleshoot and find the most efficient solutions to problems.
Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact courteously and tactfully with patients, parents/families and members of the health care team.
Must be able to follow through on commitments by working independently through checklists and following policies & procedure
Healthcare knowledge preferred.
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council within 90 Days required
