This is a full time salaried position supporting our OR clinical team in Surgical Services at Children’s Wisconsin.
We are looking for an experienced clinician who is energetic, collaborative, strives for clinical excellence and has demonstrated strength in innovative team building.
Children’s Wisconsin is verified as a Level I Pediatric Surgical Center by the American College of Surgeons. As the only Level I pediatric surgery center in Wisconsin, this achievement reflects the highly specialized care and quality assessments in surgical services at Children’s Wisconsin.
The specialized people and infrastructure create a highly specialized surgical environment for pediatric patients. Additionally, we are a Level 1 Trauma Center with a commitment for surgical excellence for the patients and families we serve.
A unit based role that provides leadership in clinical practice, education, professional development and research utilization for patient care staff. Works collaboratively as a leadership partner with the Patient Care Manager and supervisors to assure excellent nursing care for children and families.
Masters degree in nursing required.
APRN educational preparation with Clinical Nurse Specialist track and national board certification as an APRN strongly preferred.

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council, License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
