Works to provide support, analysis, configuration, development, testing and implementation services for multiple applications with varying users, technologies and complexities. Analyzes, develops, tests and implements solutions while adhering to change control and testing methodologies and all other related CW documentation standards. Provides application, workflow and process expertise through knowledge sharing, guidance and training. Provides individual mentoring to enable team members to attain a higher level of technical expertise. Knowledgeable in current and future IS trends, technology and operations.
Essential Functions
- Works to ensure the stability, reliability and performance of the assigned applications by having an expert understanding of the operational workflow, integration points and some technical components.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with application vendor(s), to ensure contracted SLA’s are met and appropriate prioritization of requests/issues is established.
- Performs issue resolution, user requirement gathering for changes, updates/upgrades and new functionality.
- Meets or exceeds service level agreements in relation to resolution of customer issues. This includes collaboration with third party resources, operations and other IS teams. Responds quickly and appropriately to customer service requests.
- Problem solving: develop and implement solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives. Designs the process/implementation plan with teams to move solutions forward.
- Discretion/latitude: acts independently to uncover and resolve issues, recommends future direction to teams based on departmental/organizational strategy, and researches available applications that satisfy long range objectives.
- Analytical insight: uses data to create and expand organizational advantage, develops and implements strategy for sustaining change, develops/designs new data analysis processes that drive business decisions, and provides expertise to teams to translate user requirements into system specifications.
- Systems thinking: thinks of children’s healthcare holistically, looks outward to see how we compare, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Involved in professional/community groups and brings new impactful ideas back to leadership. Ensures system design to support disaster planning, redundancy and recovery.
- Collaboration/liaison: collaborates with external organizations/professional groups for internal optimizations and understanding of leading edge work. Demonstrates a strong positive influence on relationships and positions IS in a positive light. Supports, promotes and assists leadership in implementing both organizational and IS initiatives. Leads multiple large complex initiatives following established project methodologies and coaches others with project management tools.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent demonstrated knowledge. required
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant experience. required

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools and IS supporting applications.
