Job Summary

Provides support for the Engagement and Stewardship team through the coordination of fund raising projects, events and recognition. Carries out communications projects intended for multiple audiences: prospects, donors, patient families, event attendees and Children's Hospital staff. Greets guests to the Foundation office and maintains a polished, well-equipped office environment for the Foundation team

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit organization, in a communications role and/or as a project manager preferred.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality when handling donor information. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet daily demands, as well as, respond to urgent situations.
  • Ability to communicate, edit and proofread correspondence, and perform calculations at a level normally acquired through completion of high school, plus additional training in word processing and/or secretarial science.
  • Advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets and email marketing programs required and general database experience desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, prioritization and organization skills. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, board members, patient families, volunteers, etc.
  • Process-oriented, ability to work efficiently and with accuracy.
