Corporate Strategy & Development Intern (Summer 2025)

What You Will Do
- The Global Strategy team at Clarios works to develop and advance the growth agenda for Clarios, collaborating with regional, functional, and parent-company leadership. Specifically, we are responsible for: analyzing and framing growth challenges and opportunities open to Clarios; structuring choices and solutions for decision-makers; leading the start-up approach for select initiatives; and collaborating broadly across the organization to measure progress, action and results.
- As part of this team, the Global Strategy Intern will focus on:
- Enterprise Strategy Development (60%)
- Discrete and critical strategic questions facing the enterprise, specific regions, or functions.
- Integrated Business Planning (30%)
- Supporting the development and maturation of Clarios’ key strategic planning processes, such as the 5-year business plan, and strategic toolkit, such as research services and data sources.
- Corporate Development & Portfolio Strategy (10%)
- Support, as needed, evaluation of potential M&A and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Enterprise Strategy Development (60%)
How You Will Do It
- Enterprise Strategy Development
- Assess and prioritize key market, customer, competitive and technology dynamics impacting Clarios over mid to long term
- Evaluate requirements and business models to establish critical success factors
- Determine Clarios' positioning, gaps, and requirements against these factors
- Develop actionable strategies and tactics to drive business plans
- Frame the issues, framework and strategic response for Clarios leadership
- Quantitative analysis
- Integrated Business Planning
- Gathering input from diverse stakeholders across the organization
- Identify areas for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness, and engagement and define potential solutions
- Create appropriate mechanisms to track progress and impact
- Corporate Development & Portfolio Strategy
- Assess specific targets, developing preliminary business cases and/or assessing analysis from regions of strategic fit and opportunity
- Lead or support due diligence efforts
What We Look For
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar.
- Duration: Summer 2025. Up to 40 hours per week.
- Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – Ability to be in-person at our Glendale, WI HQ 3+ days per week for the summer.
