Position Summary

As an experienced Epic Activation & Cutover Lead and Project Delivery Manager, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities:

  • Support Epic enterprise implementation for a large academic medical center and health system in the Southeast region.
  • Plan and manage execution of Epic EHR Activation and Cutover activities including:
  • Coordination of go-live planning efforts, such as the development of an integrated cutover and activation plan with sequencing and timing for all go-live steps.
  • Coordination with the Epic implementation team to conduct go-live readiness assessments and preparations for go-live.
  • Development of the command center playbook to support stand up of the command center and go-live stabilization activities.
  • Support identification of required decisions, evaluation of options, and decision finalization
  • Provide on-call support, troubleshoot and resolve production support issues during Activation
  • Identify and evaluate risks / issues, advise on solutions and manage implementation
  • Build rapport and promote teamwork by maintaining a professional and positive attitude, working to maintain open and professional lines of communication project team members and stakeholders
  • Effectively manage a high performing blended team of technical analysts and project managers
  • Collaborate as a team member to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Lead meetings as needed, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts and manage a project plan
  • Develop high quality work products, documentation, and deliverables in support of technical solutions
  • Report weekly status, document risks / issues, and escalate as appropriate
  • Drive timely project and data documentation with input of weekly time tracking
  • Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors

Our AI & E team brings clients the knowledge of industry leaders who understand the relevant processes and technologies for their industry—and apply them with a process and mindset that tailors transformational change to their specific organization.

Qualifications
Required


  • 5+ years' of project management experience implementing Epic and integrated systems
  • Demonstrated expertise managing the development and execution of large / complex cutover plans Epic enterprise EHR implementations
  • Demonstrated experience developing and managing the delivery of activation and command center plans for Epic and integrated system go-lives
  • Experience conducting Go-Live Readiness Assessments for Epic implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with client IT and business leaders and stakeholders across levels
  • Experience leading and managing blended teams of Epic implementation resources
  • Proficiency using project management related tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 5+ years of heath care consulting experience.
  • Epic certifications.
  • Past hands on experience executing activation and cutover tasks for Epic implementations
  • Work Experience/Direct Knowledge of clinical and business areas to be supported
