Position Summary

As an experienced Epic Implementation Technical Lead and Project Delivery Manager, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical workstream on an Epic enterprise implementation for a large academic medical center and health system in the Southeast region.
  • Manage integration of third-party applications, systems and integration testing, data conversions, device readiness, activation / cutover, and post go-live stabilization support.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement leaders
  • Analyze operational requirements and technical capabilities to propose effective solutions
  • Develop high quality technical work products, documentation, and deliverables in support of technical solutions
  • Support identification of required decisions, evaluation of options, and decision finalization
  • Work with Application and Technical Teams to ensure applications are well supported and implementations are properly executed
  • Follow defined standards, promote best practice principles, and participate in change control process
  • Effectively manage a high performing blended team of technical analysts and project managers
  • Collaborate as a team member to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Provide on-call support, troubleshoot and resolve production support issues during Activation
  • Identify and evaluate risks / issues, advise on solutions and manage implementation
  • Build rapport and promote teamwork by maintaining a professional and positive attitude, working to maintain open and professional lines of communication project team members and stakeholders
  • Lead meetings as needed, prioritize tasks, resolve conflicts and manage a project plan
  • Drive technical delivery in accordance with project timelines
  • Report weekly status, document risks / issues, and escalate as appropriate
  • Drive timely project and data tracking with input of weekly time tracking
  • Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors

We advise, design, implement, and deploy innovative and technology enabled solutions focused on "heart of the business" issues in specific sectors including Health Care & Life Sciences, Digital Banking & Payments, Investment & Wealth Management, Insurance, Telecom, Media and Energy & Resources.

Our AI & E team brings clients the knowledge of industry leaders who understand the relevant processes and technologies for their industry—and apply them with a process and mindset that tailors transformational change to their specific organization.

Qualifications
Required

  • 6+ years' of technical project management experience implementing Epic and integrated systems
  • Expertise across the full Epic implementation lifecycle (from planning, through design and build, testing, activation & cutover, go-live and post-live stabilization)
  • In depth experience driving successful integration of third-party systems with Epic
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with client IT and business leaders and stakeholders across level
  • Experience leading and managing blended teams of technical resources
  • Proficiency using project management related tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of heath care consulting experience.
  • Bridges and / or other Epic certifications.
  • Past hands-on experience executing technical tasks for EHR implementations (such as integration requirements definition, HL7 / interface development, functional and integrated testing, hardware configuration, data conversions, cutover, and technical issues resolution)
  • Technical analyst / resource interviewing and hiring experience
