The Project Manager Installation (PMI) is part of Healthcare Project Management (HPM) team, responsible for managing wing to wing projects of GE HealthCare business. They own the project management and implementation process for GE HealthCare Diagnostic Imaging Products for both turnkey and non-turnkey projects, including sales order review, customer meeting, project planning, design/layout, contractor interface, submission of documentation, issue resolution, GE resources coordination which includes product, logistics, installation and training.GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Turnkey/Non-Turnkey Projects and/or Product/Equipment-Only Projects in Imaging Systems (MRI, CT, Xray, Vasuclar, Women’s Health, Molecular Imaging and Nuclear Medicine).
- Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources that may include equipment-only, suites of products or Turnkey/non-turnkey projects.
- Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity from project feasibility study until project closure.
- The PMI is responsible for the implementation of GE HealthCare products and services, including turnkey projects, site preparation, delivery of equipments, installation planning, coordination & trainings.
- Wing to Wing management of each project milestone in a timely and quality manner in accordance with defined global standards, milestones and customer satisfaction matrix.
- Deliver the project and manage contractors and 3rd parties to comply with GE QA and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirement.
- Act as the primary liaison between GE, and the GE customer team. Work closely with customers facility and General Contractors Work with GE channel partners and support in project management.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets.
- Adapt a proactive approach to identify risks to project success and create and maintain a project risk log; develop effective action plans for resolution as early as possible.
- Work cross functionally with sales and services teams while owning the project management and implementation process for GE HealthCare Diagnostic Imaging.
- Additional and ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by manager.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives regionally and globally.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical field experience, majoring in Bio-Medical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years’ experience in cross-functional for project integration, sale and service support.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale project management where deadlines were met on schedule or ahead of schedule (e.g. healthcare, construction or imaging medical equipment installation/service experience)
- Strong project management skills are required with customer management experience.
- Construction field experience for hospital construction such as civil work, structural, HVAC and clean room is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple priorities to meet scheduled completion dates, execute multiple commitments within the constraints of environment and customer expectations.
- Resourcefulness, commitment, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, smartsheet etc is prefered.
- Willingness to travel within certain ASEAN countries - Singapore/Malaysia/Cambodia as required for extended support.
Desired Characteristics
- PMP Certification and/or other project management certifications. Project/Service experience in medical devices/hospital environment is preferred.
- Multitasking abilities to drive critical issues simultaneously.
- Independently lead a customer through all aspects of design and requirements.
- Experience in managing people and tasks.
- Experience in managing turnkey-projects.
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
