Our Global CVIS FP&A team at AVS, GE HealthCare partners with customers to provide innovative technology that enables faster, more informed medical decisions.As the CVIS Lead FP&A Analyst, you will lead and support various analysis, reporting, and planning activities for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A tasks, including closing, reporting, and forecasting for a $1.8B sub-segment of AVS. In this role, you will report to the CVIS FP&A Senior Finance Manager.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as a key business partner to the CVIS finance and operating teams, managing dedicated reporting activities including data collection, understanding key drivers versus budget, prior quarter, and prior year, and reporting to our Group/Corporate team.
- Support the annual budgeting and 3-year long-term strategy and financial plan to achieve organic growth, margin, and cash targets in line with business expectations.
- Prepare detailed analyses and backups for financial reviews.
- Assist CVIS Finance and operational teams in monthly Operating Mechanisms by ensuring consistent data and enhancing existing reporting capabilities for actuals and key KPIs: direct vs. fully burdened views, unconstrained vs. constrained, regional/sub-regional, group allocations.
- Develop reliable monthly and quarterly estimates of orders, sales, and operating profit.
- Emphasize building standard work for internal analysis and Group submissions, leveraging systems expertise and consolidating inputs from key stakeholders (direct ULS, regions, group allocations, services).
- Support preparation of EBIT walks, collecting inputs and understanding key drivers such as volume, pricing, mix, EOP & inflation, investments & cost productivity, FX, and ensuring compliance with Ops P&L requirements.
- Build reports and variance analyses to understand actuals on a fully burdened view and enable timely follow-ups with regions, services, and sub-segments.
- Support Commercial Finance Analysis (Funnel, Backlog, Price, Profitability) as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum of 5 years of operating finance expertise and rigor.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth in FP&A expertise from prior assignments.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority and high-visibility deliverables.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Desired Characteristics
- Thrives in a fast-paced, highly visible, intellectually challenging environment. Strong FP&A and commercial experience preferred.
- Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, PBI), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (e.g., pivot tables, VLookup, Macros).
- Adaptable/Flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or working in ambiguous situations.
- Contributes to the success and foundations of a first-time public company.
- Strong critical thinking and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
