Job Description Summary
As a Pluto Manufacturing Development Technician at our Waukesha site, you will perform diverse and complex assignments in support of GEHC product manufacturing and development for the Pluto detector program.Technicians will pioneer hands-on execution of advanced manufacturing techniques for the CT detector and subcomponents as they are developed into a standardized and established manufacturing process. This role will help to define and improve the process using lean principles and create and/or update the process documentation. Additional assignments may include execution and documentation of experiments designed by the engineering team. Successful candidates will have a safety-oriented mindset and able to meet delivery goals in a dynamic environment.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Equipment set up for production in accordance to specified settings.
Operation of developmental process including accurate records of the work performed as required for company’s quality policy
Proactively identify hazards and assist in resolution of safety concerns
Support creation of documentation for new processes
Assist the execution of previously designed experiments
Suggest improvements to current processes and work instructions
Work with engineering personnel for process development and improvement
Monitoring product quality using data graphics attached to the manufacturing process
Address and/or escalate abnormalities with equipment quality and production flow
Visually inspect components and manipulate features under a microscope to resolve discrepancies
From detailed instructions, set up equipment for material recovery when applicable (rework)
Comply with daily safety, quality, and delivery goals
Assist with ensuring equipment readiness when equipment is in idle state
Maintain workstation in an orderly state following the 5S protocol while meeting all requirements of a cleanroom environment
Required Qualifications
Associates degree, or a High School diploma and a minimum of 2 years of technical experience
Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem solving techniques
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
Perform all ISO cleanroom gowning and employee practices
Have passed manual dexterity test administered by Dept Management personnel
Have passed the visually related jobs group #2 vision test administered by the GE Healthcare Medical Center
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with eDHR and My Workshop
Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean concepts and applications
