The GE HealthCare MR Digital Innovation Leader will lead the MR segment’s digital strategy, including overseeing the full lifecycle of new product development and installed base enhancements. This leader will be an active collaborative member of the MR leadership team and will be central to shaping the future of the MR portfolio, delivering scalable, AI-powered software solutions that enhance clinical impact, accelerate growth and strengthen competitive edge.Business is looking for a forward-thinking leader to shape the future of software in our MR business. The MR Software Product Leader role will be the go-to person for driving our software product strategy including recurring revenue, software acquisition opportunities and software options and upgrades—with a clear focus on delivering value to patients, providers, and customers.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the end-to-end, modern software growth strategy for MR that aligns with care pathways, product platforms, and long-term SaaS/recurring revenue goals.
- Embed user feedback, clinical insights, and market trends into the digital product lifecycle, championing a customer centric approach.
- Ensure every new software product introduction (NPI) is grounded in customer and patient value—not just features.
- Identify and integrate new software acquisition opportunities that complement our portfolio and expand our impact—with a clear focus on delivering value to patients, providers, and customers.
- Ensure integrations are seamless and enhance the overall experience for users and care teams.
- Champion a unified, end-to-end workflow—from planning to visualization—that simplifies the MR experience.
- Drive subscription-based models that offer flexibility, predictability, and ongoing value to our customers.
- Deliver key medium-term innovations and identify, plan and launch the next generation of MR digital innovations.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across R&D, commercial, central software and IT, product and operations teams to ensure cohesive architecture, solution interoperability and execution.
- Dramatically improve MR business profitability by focusing on what matters most: better outcomes, smarter tools, and meaningful experiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, software, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in healthcare, medtech, software, or related industries.
- Proven experience in software product leadership, preferably in healthcare or imaging technologies.
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrated success in strategy development, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional execution.
- A track record of leading software product strategy and execution—ideally in healthcare or imaging.
- Experience with SaaS models, subscription enablement, and inorganic growth strategies.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and governance frameworks.
- MR domain expertise
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes
- Excellent communication skills: plain and clear communicator, truth teller, influencer – not a politician
- Strategic thinking – ability to synthesize information to insights and turn it into actionable plans
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and problem solve across a complex matrix
- Previous experience in regulated medical device company
- Lean trained with experience in applying lean to solve business challenges
- Collaborative leader who can influence across R&D, product, and commercial teams.
