Job Description Summary

The team building industry‑leading PET/CT scanners is seeking highly motivated software engineers to join the team.

You will work on complex software projects and in specialized architecture areas using industry leading technologies to grow into a technology leader.

Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Design, develop software in a fast‑paced, agile environment using modern tools and technologies
  • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and application experts to turn PET/CT imaging needs into clear software requirements
  • Translate product vision into prioritized user stories and deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule
  • Design and implement high‑performance, reliable software for distributed processing and data‑intensive image acquisition subsystems
  • Lead and participate in integration and verification at component, subsystem, and system levels
  • Stay current with research and industry trends in PET/CT acquisition technologies
  • Partner with architects and product leaders on multi‑generation technology and roadmap planning
  • Improve team efficiency through reuse, simplification, and continuous process improvement
  • Write high‑quality, standards‑compliant code and actively assess and improve application performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in professional software development
  • Strong experience with C/C++ and object‑oriented design
  • Experience developing software on Linux (x86) systems
  • Working knowledge of configuration management tools

Desired Characteristics

  • GEHC experience in EEDP leadership development program
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a global team setting
  • Experience with high‑performance or parallel computing concepts and tools
  • Familiarity with PETCT or PETMR Image acquisition processing
  • Background in performance‑critical system design and architecture
