What you will do:

The production coordinator will assist the Manufacturing operation with administrative tasks of a local manufacturer. The primary purpose in this role is to support the administrative needs, including documentation, data management and organizational health for the manufacturing and engineering team including the production engineering team. The Production Coordinator will be expected to provide excellent customer service to inquiries from external as well as internal customers.

How you will do it:

  • Process purchase orders through BuySmart or SAP for non BOM/MRO items for the production and engineering teams. This includes processing the invoices with each of these purchases thru our financial management system.
  • Submit new vendors in the system.
  • Provide overall administrative support to as assigned, including ordering office supplies for support staff. This also includes service requirements for office equipment such as copiers/projectors.
  • Support measurement data publication for manufacturing operations, if needed. Support cross functional teams by assisting with the transfer of data to excel spreadsheets.
  • Run reports from our ERP system (SAP) to provide production team information as needed for support.
  • Enter data for tracking inventory and scrap management.
  • Provide support to HR, Finance, Production, Engineering, & EHS with critical information on reports as needed.
  • Support EHS with evacuation documentation as headcount is updated.
  • Support engineering functions with administrative tasks, ordering of materials & documentation tracking.
  • Coordination of meetings for internal activities and events including meals and room readiness.
  • Coordination of vendor visits for equipment related activities or new project initiatives.
  • Coordination of sales visits for tours. (headsets, lunch, etc.)
  • Assist with employee communication, best practice sharing, presentations of announcements, including collection of information from employees supporting their engagement.
  • Work with EHS and Human Resources on organizational health initiatives – morale-based activities and recognition leading to improved culture for the facility.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the work area including central areas for the leadership team – conference rooms, copier areas, lunchroom and information storage.
  • Provide Opex support for planning and facilitation of kaizen events.
  • Support office supply of purchasing and inventory for entire Standard Products site.
  • Collect and enter Stores cards to reflect inventory adjustments both digital and physical processes.
  • Fulfill charity requests upon committee approval.
  • Any other tasks needed to support the cross functional teams at standard products to allow for successful collaboration.

What we look for:

Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent. Post high school education. Associates degree preferred. 1-3 years’ experience in customer facing role preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills including PC competencies with MS Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook and Internet. Excellent time management, planning, organizational, and customer service skills to manage multiple priorities and diverse personalities. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, identifies process improvements, and act with a sense of urgency. Self-motivated and able to contribute individually as well as part of a team. High level of integrity to maintain confidentiality. Successful candidates will be deadline oriented, organized, have strong time management skills, and have strong attention to detail.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20.67-$25.96 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
