Summary
Johnson Controls Procurement Center of Excellence is seeking a Director of LeanDNA to develop and manage their Lean DNA inventory optimization program. The individual will lead all aspects of the program providing strategic direction while ensuring the program meets the materials and inventory management goals of the organization. They will lead a dedicated team, collaborating with multiple functions across the organization and ensuring adoption of the LeanDNA program enterprise wide. The person in this role will interface with Procurement, Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, IT and other functional groups as needed. The candidate will communicate with and influence leaders at all levels of the organization. The position will report directly to the Director of Global Supply Chain Operational Excellence.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide vision and strategic direction for the Lean DNA program to ensure top quartile results.
- Lead the deployment of LeanDNA in JCI operations globally.
- Support current deployments, ensuring target adoption rates are met while driving continuous process improvements.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and LeanDNA teams
- Ensure sufficient program governance is deployed ensuring compliance to policies and processes.
- Develop-Monitor LeanDNA KPI’s to support business objectives.
- Build robust alignment and partnerships with Operations teams and IT support.
- Facilitate supplier onboarding and supplier compliance within the program.
- Develop/mentor LeanDNA team members.
- Ensure the program is agile, adapting to changing business conditions and technological advancements.

- Proficient with MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint.
Required, Capabilities, Experience and Degree Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably within Supply Chain Management) required, MBA preferred.
- Possess 10-15 years of experience in supply chain management and operations with a history of driving change in a multinational environment.
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory and materials management capabilities
- Working knowledge Lean principals and techniques to drive continued process improvements.
- Program management experience with a deep understanding of materials and inventory management
- Able to travel globally (Up to 25% Travel).
- Strong communication skills - written and oral.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- ASCM certification preferred.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $141,000-$211,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
