NATURE AND SCOPE
The ERM Analyst reports to the Sr Manager, Enterprise Risk and is responsible for assisting with developing, managing, and executing enterprise risk analysis programs, including Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management. The ERM analyst ensures enterprise risk programs comply with risk-related regulatory requirements; collaborates with department managers to gather and document information to support risk programs; analyzes potential risk exposures; proposes risk mitigation solutions; and reports on the status of risk programs.
1. Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience in ERM or a related business function, preferably in the financial services industry. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
2. Strong analytical skills, including the demonstrated ability to define problems, assess risk, analyze processes, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
3. Proven ability to independently organize work, balance multiple priorities, and manage a variety of responsibilities in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and interact with personnel at all levels of the organization.
6. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job-related State and Federal laws and regulations.
1. Contributes to developing, implementing, executing, and continuously improving the enterprise risk programs, inclusive of the RCSA and Risk Assessment process.
2. Develops metrics to gauge, track, and report risk (KRI/KPI) within the enterprise risk programs.
3. Collaborates with various business department leaders to perform ERM duties identifying and assessing risk.
4. Aids in the development of a risk and control library, and the subsequent integration to the GRC system
5. Develops the process for testing key controls including planning executing, recommendations for remediation and reporting to various level including Executive Management. to ensure ongoing monitoring of those controls.
6. Creates supporting documentation per policies, procedures, and established standards, update as needed.
7. Provides clear and timely communication to management/Executive Management/ Board of Directors on status, issues, and risks.
8. Work with the Sr. Vendor Management/BCP Analyst to review and monitor the department level Business Continuity Plans annual, ensuring current relevance.
9. Enterprise Risk Management Analyst works with the Enterprise Risk Manager to discuss and validate updates made to the Master Business Continuity Plan.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
