Position Description:

The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking an Audio/Video Technician at Fiserv Forum. The Technician shall prepare, configure, test, and support Audio/Video equipment for the Bucks, Fiserv Forum, and customer activities. This employee shall be on the Operation Technology team and report to its Executive Director with day-to-day guidance being given by the Senior Broadcast Engineer.

The A/V Support Technician shall work closely with the front of house and back of house teams to ensure conferences and other activities at Fiserv Forum and other facilities meet all A/V requirements.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preps, sets, and strikes A/V equipment throughout Fiserv Forum and other Bucks facilities.
  • Maintain all A/V equipment and keep accurate inventory.
  • Load and Test Digital display content for inhouse IPTV systems along with onsite Daktronics Arena Display Boards for any and all events.
  • Ability to think through signal flow of audio, video, and lighting systems based on available inventory in order to make sure that events are complete in every detail.
  • Operates A/V equipment with full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications.
  • Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment for events, recommend substitutions.
  • Maintains effective communication and feedback with Fiserv Forum departments, peers, and technology teammates.
  • Follow rigid deadlines.
  • Gives support to other departments involved in the set-up, strike, and operation of the events.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Projects a professional image, always respecting appearance based on Fiserv forum standards.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relations with Fiserv Forum and Bucks staff and with co-workers - encouraging good communication and teamwork attitude.
  • Protects equipment from damage or theft. Reports damaged equipment to the appropriate person for repair.
  • Maintain clean and safe working areas.
  • Ability to learn and utilize other A/V systems: Daktronics, IPTV, Crestron, streaming services, and other systems.
  • Strong background with audio/PA systems preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business.
