Summary:
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for supporting a variety of research and project initiatives within the marketing department. The ideal candidate will exhibit an outstanding attention to detail, a passion for the field of sports + entertainment and an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing short and long-term requests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general research and competitive analysis of sports landscape.
- Coordinate event and project details between departments with various lead times and deadlines.
- Support development of content (i.e. promotions, newsletters, programs, etc.) for Bucks programs and initiatives (including, but not limited to ticket promotions, youth basketball, Kid’s Club, Student Rush, etc.).
- Create project outlines and recaps.
- Traffic internal and external media and track performance.
- Maintain overall brand integrity in all work.
- Coordinate and assist with marketing promotions.
- Assist as needed with annual marketing planning.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursing a degree in marketing, communications, sports management, or related field.
- Understanding of traditional + non-traditional marketing tactics.
- Project management skills as demonstrated through previous coursework and/or internships.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Available on Night and Weekends with flexibility to work ~20 hours weekly.
- Ability to work with a variety of departments and team members while maintaining a positive outlook and team-player mentality
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac Operating System.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus!
