Job Title: Scoreboard Technical Director

Class: Part-Time

Reports to: Specialist, Production & Live Events

Location: Milwaukee, WI (onsite)

Summary:

This position will be responsible for the set-up and operation of the production switcher for Milwaukee Bucks games, Marquette Men’s Basketball games and special events at Fiserv Forum. This person should have expert knowledge of live event production switching.

Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate the Ross Acuity production switcher and associated technical equipment including Daktronics RossTalk and Xpression
  • Collaborate with the Gameday Director and Producer to better enhance the in-game entertainment experience
  • Work in live environments during preproduction, tape and live events
  • Ability to take direction and perform tasks independently and efficiently
  • Be proactive and maintain positive working relationships with staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Ross Acuity Production Switchers or equivalent video production switchers and integration with Daktronics RossTalk and Xpression
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an in-arena control room setting
  • Understanding of Scoreboard Control Room workflows
  • Great attention to detail
  • Basketball knowledge preferred
  • Ability to identify needs and make decisions quickly
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance
  • Be able to work nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedules
  • Be able to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, executive leadership and event managers
