Location: Fiserv Forum/Deer District

Summary:

This is a management role that is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of all Milwaukee Bucks facilities. This role will direct the management of all programs and services relating to physical plant operations including facilities, maintenance, system operations and utility services at the Fiserv Forum, Sport Science Center, Froedtert Medical Building, Parking Garages and all other Bucks venues.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, manage, develop and communicate departmental procedures for maintenance department
• Approve specifications for procurement of supplies, equipment and services related to facilities/maintenance department
• Perform financial forecasting and budgeting for all facility expenditures. Manage projects and facilities function within confines of annual budget
• Help the Vice President of Facilities in capital budget.
• Conduct baseline & annual reviews of existing building systems with an eye to assessing life cycle, maintenance requirements and priority analysis. Determine short- and long-term maintenance requirements. Update and maintain a preventative maintenance program
• Research building maintenance software options, determine if this is needed and implement accordingly
• Responsible for all maintenance, utility and vendor/consultant contracts and relationships
• Manage and motivate a team of facilities employees. Work with staff to facilitate a teamwork approach combining expertise and manpower for the completion of projects
• Maintain safety standards for team members by developing and communicating procedures to conform to federal, state and insurance regulations
• Determine and maintain all state and federal licensing, permitting and inspectional requirements
• Coordinate all cleaning activities with third party vendors to ensure the Bucks high standards for cleanliness are maintained

• Coordinate and manage all office logistics including mail delivery and office supplies including soda, water, etc.

• Assist with planning and execution of all major ancillary Milwaukee Bucks events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years relevant experience in large scale building maintenance; construction and facility operations; Arena or Stadium experience strongly preferred
• Proven knowledge of OSHA and other Federal Regulations as applicable to the operation of a public multi-purpose facility
• Ability to effectively manage the financial and operational aspects of multiple projects and department activities
• Demonstrated commitment and experience with sustainability initiatives a plus
• Successful track record in managing both multiple operations projects and capital projects a must
• Proven ability to successfully manage and lead a team
• Prior roles with a focus on innovation, quality, efficiency, and customer service
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills required
• Exceptional evaluation, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Ability to anticipate, plan, recommend, implement, and follow-through required
• Ability to perform duties proactively and collaboratively required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel required
