In the role of Sr. Manager, Software Engineering, based in Milwaukee, WI, you will be a key leader within our Information Technology team, responsible for building and evolving our Commercial Technology engineering practice. You are a seasoned, driven, and detail-oriented leader who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. You’ll partner closely with commercial leaders, product managers, and solution architects to design and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that support MCBC’s commercial strategy. Put another way—you’re both a visionary strategist and a tenacious tactician who can dream big and execute brilliantly.

This role provides leadership and oversight for the configuration, development, and optimization of Commercial Technology solutions across a broad stack of interconnected applications. You’ll guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges, ensuring solutions are built efficiently, securely, and with a focus on long-term value. Your deep understanding of the beverage business and enterprise technology enables you to translate business needs into practical, innovative solutions that drive performance and growth.

As a people leader, you will mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability. You’ll be recognized as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, known for your ability to solve complex problems, deliver results, and inspire excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in helping MCBC achieve its commercial objectives while advancing our digital capabilities and engineering maturity.

This position reports to the Sr. Director Solutions & Platforms and collaborates closely with global development teams and commercial business product owners.

What You’ll Be Brewing:

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations
  • Lead teams to customize and configure SaaS applications to meet the specific needs of the sales and marketing teams, ensuring solutions are using standard approaches, while also optimized for performance and usability.
  • Lead by example to create a culture of curiosity and problem solving so team members feel motivated and empowered by the work they do.
  • Partner with internal and external technical leaders and teams to ensure solutions are delivering on business and technical objectives
  • Work closely with product management to understand roadmaps and long-range plans to ensure the team can respond to upcoming technical requirements.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in SaaS applications, configurations, and software engineering for the sales and marketing domain

Key Ingredients:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant STEM field OR equivalent experience
  • You have at least 5-8 years experience in software engineering and leading teams to deliver solutions that drive business impact.
  • You have experience developing on cloud and Software-as-a-Service platforms, particularly for Sales and Marketing applications such as CRM, pricing and promotion optimization, direct-to-consumer engagement, eCommerce, and content management including integrating enterprise applications. Experience with Salesforce preferred.

  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build a cohesive team culture, establish sound engineering practices, and enforce pragmatic design standards that avoid overengineering.
  • You have experience working in Agile model, using the methodology and tools to drive iterative progress and team collaboration.
  • You have a proven track record of applying DevOps practices and tools to streamline development, deployment, and operational efficiency.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across technology and business functions.
  • You collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, bridging technical and non-technical perspectives to drive alignment and successful outcomes.

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $143,900.00 - $188,900.00 (posting salary range) + 20% target short term incentive + target long term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).


The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately pay based on a number of non-discriminatory factors that inform pay decisions including but not limited to the required work location, previous work experience, skill set and internal equity.
