About the Role:

The role of a Cybersecurity Engineer Product Owner involves defining and delivering cybersecurity product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of secure solutions. Key responsibilities include:


Support Cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment with key priorities and outcomes.
Prioritizing work based on emerging cyber threats, business needs, and industry trends.
Collaborating with security experts to integrate robust security measures into products.
Establish reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility into operational KPIs and progress toward key results.

Collaborating with technology teams, product security, GRC, Identity and Access Management, and business teams to ensure successful operational and strategic delivery.
Creating and maintaining a cybersecurity backlog and collaborating with the engineering and operational teams on PI planning.

This role requires a strategic mindset, experience in product management, and a passion for cybersecurity. It is ideal for professionals who are not only skilled in product management but also have a deep understanding of strategic principles and practices and have experience working in a cybersecurity organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Cybersecurity strategy, ensuring alignment with key priorities and outcomes.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance divisional value.

  • Collaborate across teams to integrate strategies effectively.

  • Establish reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility into operational KPIs and progress toward key results.

  • Manage planning artifacts, annual OKRs, and high-level roadmaps, reviewed quarterly.

  • Oversee 1/3/5 strategy maps, key priorities, and business case submissions.

  • Conduct quarterly PI planning reviews to ensure alignment with committed work.

Business Operations

  • Align Cybersecurity business operations with departmental strategy, mission, and goals.

  • Identify and address gaps in the operating model.

Planning & Budgeting

  • Collaborate with finance on planning and budgeting processes.

  • Ensure divisional plans and budgets align with functional and company priorities.

Meeting Planning

  • Prepare agendas for Cybersecurity leadership meetings and planning sessions.

  • Participate in leadership meetings to resolve barriers and develop action plans.

  • Facilitate cross-functional initiatives and information flow.

  • Coordinate stakeholder information requests and prepare reports and presentations.

Trusted Advisor

  • Support the VP of Cybersecurity in strategic planning, roadmap development, and operational planning.

  • Impact strategic initiative implementation to achieve divisional objectives.

Other Expectations

  • Stay informed on audits/assessments requiring Cybersecurity support.

  • Integrate audit findings into division strategy and roadmap.

  • Ensure prioritized work aligns with division goals.

  • Monitor changes impacting division priorities and commitments.

Pay Range - End:

$212,550.00

Geographic Specific Pay Structure:

Structure 110:

$125,930.00 USD - $233,870.00 USD

Structure 115:

$131,600.00 USD - $244,400.00 USD
