Student - Gas Shop

We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group is currently recruiting for a Student- Gas Shop (Summer Vacation Relief Employee) for our North Service Center located in Milwaukee, WI. This position is represented by We Energies L2006 Union.
Candidates must be available to work full-time. Monday - Friday starting at 6:00AM - 2:30 PM during the summer.
Starting Pay: $20.75
Job Responsibilities
- Test, adjust, and repair all makes and models of gas meters used to measure the gas consumption for We Energies gas customers.
- This position requires working on your feet for long periods of time.
- Safety boots are required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a Technical, Associate, Bachelor, or Master's Degree.

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
