Job Summary

Our IT Leadership team at West Bend is growing! The Commercial Lines Division at West Bend has a strong commitment to innovation, progress, and efficiency in the ever-evolving realm of the insurance industry. A key element of success is our ability to nimbly implement and modify products to ensure profitability and offer superior product offerings for our agents and insureds. We are looking for a strong technology leader with solid commercial lines experience to challenge and lead our team in achieving these commitments. Our ideal candidate understands the capabilities required (all transactions, all lines of business, premium audit, loss control, etc.) as well as the requirements of rate revisions and regulatory compliance. Additionally they have a proven track record of strong stakeholder management experience, including ability to work with Product Owners to understand intended outcomes and lead team to measure outcome attainment in terms of ROI or other identified metrics.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Manages the delivery of the IT services portfolio. Identifies and defines services offered by the internal IT department or external vendors/service providers; customizes offerings to reflect changing business needs. Collaborates with organizational stakeholders to develop performance standards in support of established service level agreements (SLAs). Measures performance of services offered, as well as develops and implements strategies to improve process or cost effectiveness. Understands the needs of the business and aligns delivery and implementation plans to support business goals. Aligns with technology solution delivery. Collaborates and coordinates with other delivery managers to deliver highly effective and right sized solutions. Develops and drives new solutions along with continuous improvement initiatives related to IT service delivery. Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s policies, procedures, and practices. Performs complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of other associates. Develops and manages staff plans incorporating both internal and external talent to provide skill sets required for effective delivery. Provides input into personnel decisions, budgeting, planning, and policies, processes, and procedures.
