What You Will Contribute:
The QSC administrator is responsible for ensuring accuracy of RMA status, maintains accurate physical and ERP LX inventory of returned goods, schedules repair activities in other departments, and provides metrics on QSC activities. You will interact with production, engineering, technical support, customer service, and other quality assurance personnel to facilitate flow of returned products and accurate information.
Job Duties:
Handle returned goods that have been in outdoor applications.
Track RTC (Return to Customer) orders, credit memos, repair orders, and warranty returns (particularly where there are missed or unassigned cases).
Responsible for forecasting lead times for warranty analysis and repairs by Quality Service Center staff.
Use Salesforce to do a thorough manual count to monitor items in the Quality Service Center, review Cases in Salesforce for completeness, and close out when completed.
Track and report on 3-day turn-around requirement for warranty, review items returned for credit, repair estimates, initial review for NIST/accuracy test.
Manage customer owned material in the Customer Server Center, final dispositions of returning to customer or recycling.
Complete cycle counts on a weekly basis and send a weekly backlog update by categories.
Use other Badger Meter software (update asset information in Beacon, complete LX job (900 entry) closure, coordinate/report RMA activity in QSC, etc).
Education and Experience:
High School Degree/GED required; Associate's Degree in a Mechanical or Technical field preferred.
3+ years of experience working with returned goods, customer service, or materials planning desired.
Qualifications:
Basic experience with Salesforce, data entry, and generating reports preferred.
Good mechanical aptitude and customer support/contact required.
Basic PC and Microsoft Office suite skills required.
