What You Will Contribute:

As a Logistics Specialist, you'll play a critical role in coordinating domestic and international shipments, optimizing transportation processes, and ensuring products reach customers safely, efficiently, and on time.

This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally with teams across the business, gain exposure to global logistics operations, and help drive continuous improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound shipments across multiple locations.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and export paperwork.
  • Evaluate shipping options and select the best carriers based on cost, service, and delivery requirements.
  • Schedule, consolidate, and track domestic and international freight shipments.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Planning, Credit, and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including hazardous materials and lithium battery shipping requirements.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to plan, manage, and monitor shipments.
  • Conduct shipment and inventory audits to maintain shipping accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support security and trade compliance initiatives, including CTPAT requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, increase efficiency, and reduce transportation costs.
  • Contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives across the operation.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, shipping, receiving, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating shipments and working with carriers, freight providers, or transportation partners.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials shipping regulations.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, distribution, or material handling equipment.
  • DGD/IATA certification (air freight preferred; ocean freight a plus).
  • Forklift certification.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing and office environment and requires regular use of standard office equipment.
