Summary

Manages finances, personnel and resources to ensure that goals are met in a timely and effective manner. Responsible for the day-to-day administration and operations of the division’s clinical programs, collaborating with the Department Administrator, Clinical Operations Director, and physician and APP leaders. Maintains an environment conducive to peak performance in all areas of operation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partners with physician, hospital, and advanced practice provider (APP) leaders to optimize operational performance

  • Tracks, analyzes, and reports business, operational, and workforce metrics to support informed decision making

  • Serves as a point of contact for operational issues requiring timely resolution.

  • Oversees staffing operations including scheduling, coverage planning, productivity monitoring, and onboarding coordination

  • Supports implementation of new workflows, policies, systems, or operational changes.

  • Identifies, enhances, and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business unit to which the support is being provided.

  • Ensures correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services.

  • Develops and prepares budgets and analyzes financial information.

  • Directs division operations and allocates people, material, and financial resources to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Manages office services and operations including preparing reports, analysis, and other business services.

  • Oversees operational activities of the division to ensure efficiency and compliance with the department and institution’s policies and procedures.

  • Partners with department leadership and provides strategic planning and business development recommendations.

  • Responsible for the division’s fiscal operations as well as recruitment, hiring, training, disciplinary action, and performance evaluation processes.

  • Aligns division practices and collaborates to develop program materials, education materials, marketing materials, and division reports.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Scope

  • Anesthesia Services for Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Froedtert West Bend Hospital

  • Anesthesia Services for four Froedtert Ambulatory Surgery Centers

  • Critical Care Anesthesia for CVICU at Froedtert Hospital

  • Ambulatory Pain Division

Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Required Experience: 8 years

Physical Requirements

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
