Enterprise Application Developer I - Office of Research -100% Remote

Summary
Under limited supervision, develops and implements business solutions through the full software life cycle. The Enterprise Application Developer is specifically responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance of complex client software applications.
This position is 100% remote. All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, DE, FL,
GA, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, and UT
Primary Responsibilities
Designs, analyzes, codes, tests, debugs, modifies and documents moderately complex applications in the context of Click Commerce Research Extranet application suite.
Quickly converts concepts and ideas into solutions through the preparation of detailed specifications for business application projects and customizations that will be integrated with existing applications.
Diagnoses and resolves issues in the maintenance and support of business applications.
Interacts with client and technical teams to define requirements and develop solutions.
Provides input when reviewing new business application designs to ensure consistency with business objectives and technical standards.
Provides technical expertise in reviewing and analyzing existing system and server configurations and performance to achieve cost effective solutions that support business objectives.
Operates within a complex product and business environment requiring the ability to manage multiple requests. Able to work independently and maintain focus on priority tasks.
Collaborates with the Office of Research IT Team to develop efficient plans, processes, timelines and work required for addressing all identified support and upgrade activities.
Partners with end-users and technical staff to diagnose and resolve problems relating to a variety of business processes.

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities
Knowledge of computers, electronics, digital media, databases, applications, software development, risk management, and information security.
Customer support, systems analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and listening skills.
Qualifications
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 3 years
Physical Requirements
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Work Environment
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.

The target salary range for this position is $69,400.00 to $87,800.00 annually. The final offered salary will depend on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as considerations of internal equity and market alignment.
