Summary
Under close supervision, coordinate education related activities such as interviews, orientation, data tracking and evaluations. Provide primary coordination for the fellowship programs within the Department of Medicine, Educational Programs.
Primary Responsibilities
Implement program activities (e.g., educational events, training, learner recruitment, interviews, orientation, schedules, and graduation).
Maintain working understanding of accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
Support Program Directors or other leaders on issues related to the requirements of accreditation agencies, national boards, or affiliates.
Collaborate with and act as a liaison between Program Directors/Coordinators, trainees, division leadership and Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals (MCWAH) staff to ensure that established fellowship program guidelines are met.
Maintain database(s) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the program(s), and learners.
Provide information, support, and problem solving for leaders, faculty, and staff.
Coordinate the recruitment process for trainees, including scheduling appointments/interviews, distribution of documents and assembling and submitting match lists. Perform standard orientations for new trainees
Create brochures, flyers, handbooks, and other educational materials.
Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities.
Will play a crucial part in working with each program coordinator and the manager in both recruitment, organization of accreditation files, and daily organization of the fellow’s time regarding continuity clinic, didactics, conferences/seminars, rotations (consults/ward months), evaluations of fellows and faculty, monitoring duty hours, research, and scholarly activity.

Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, collaboration, and information management.
Organization, time management, interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Required Experience: 2 years

Physical Requirements
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Work Environment
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
