Job Summary
Our IT-Finance team is looking for a Software Engineer to provide dedicated technical focus for West Bend’s billing department. If you’re a self-driven, creative, insightful Software Engineer who values contributing to a self-empowered, continuously learning agile team – we’d love to talk to you. We are currently looking for an experienced Software Engineer who is familiar with .Net, C#, and Azure Cloud Native apps as we improve our Billing systems and build out our automated testing strategy. Responsibilities & Qualifications
The Software Engineer works as part of our agile development team and is responsible for the design and implementation of back-end applications and services for West Bend's Billing department. We are looking for a Software Engineer who can fluently move between many different technologies including cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure API Management, App Services, and Service Bus. The right person for this position will also assist with complex automated test scripts using Playwright.
Candidates should enjoy producing clean, maintainable, reliable, and observable code. Candidates will contribute to the ongoing improvement of the development process and continuous reduction of technical debt. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of initiative, taking full ownership of their responsibilities to consistently achieve objectives.

Preferred Experience and Skills
- Proficiency with C#, .NET 6, or .NET Core & .NET Framework
- Proficiency with Azure Apps, APIM, Service Bus
- Proficiency with web services and API development, including REST, SOAP, WSDL standards
- Proficiency writing unit and integration tests
- Proficiency with XML, XSLT, and JSON
- Proficiency with Postman, Visual Studio, or Playwright
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills
- Working in an agile or Scrum environment
- Effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical roles
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- 4-8 years of experience in IT engineering
